Transforming The Way We Learn

Originally built in the 1980s, the outdated 66,000 SF School of Business building transformed into a state-of-the-art facility for the School of Communications. The renovation provides modern teaching spaces, a collaborative media lab, video production studio, active learning lab, game design lab, and a flexible office suite.

“It is incredible to be teaching in the renovated Sverdrup Hall. As faculty, we’re all feeling the positive impact from teaching in rooms with more space, updated technology, and the ability to foster more collaborative learning experiences. However, we collectively agree that the impact on students has been palpable; impression and environment have an overall positive impact and I’m seeing that reaction regularly with my students.”
- Aaron AuBuchon, Department Chair of Digital and Photographic Media
