Webster University Browning Hall

St. Louis, MO
Science On Display
Details

Browning Hall includes state-of-the-art science labs, smart classrooms, offices, a 129-seat auditorium, and student study spaces. 10 departments/programs under the College of Arts & Sciences to foster an academically diverse environment now find their home within the new 87,000 SF building. By merging these traditionally separated disciplines, the building encourages comprehensive thinking and shared research methods supporting new leaps of discovery for both research and education. Flexible and modular design gives faculty the ability to teach multiple disciplines in the same space and allows for future learning opportunities. For example, the teaching kitchen is used by the International Languages & Cultures department for a culinary class and the Chemistry department for a class in food science.
