A New Home for Health Sciences
Details

University Hall underwent a transformative $6 million renovation in 2024, turning a former cafeteria into a dynamic, student-centered hub for the College of Health Sciences. The updated space now includes three modern classrooms with soaring windows and high ceilings, open study areas, student meeting spaces, and a newly accessible exterior entrance.

The renovation was driven by the need to bring health sciences students closer to faculty, resources, and each other. Prior to the update, students often had to navigate long distances across campus for major-related classes and clinical sessions—adding unnecessary stress and time constraints to their day. The revitalized University Hall now centralizes academic and social functions, making it a more convenient and welcoming destination.

Furniture and artwork were thoughtfully integrated to enhance comfort, support collaboration, and create an inspiring environment that students consider a true “home away from home.”
