We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator. The marketing coordinator will be responsible for a variety of marketing tasks. As a small company, this position will allow for experience in all fields of marketing.We are looking for someone with an energetic personality that wants to take our existing marketing department to the next level.Applicant needs to be analytical, strategic, detailed oriented, excellent proofing/editing/copywriting skills, a multi-tasker, and know how to serve it up and be proactive.Able to lend creative ideas, and collaborate well with a team.Graphics and Interior Design background a strong plus. 

Responsibilities, but not limited to the following

  • Write, revise, format and update marketing collateral and proposal content, resumes and project descriptions.
  • Conference/Event/Tradeshow coordination including pre- and post-show follow up.
  • Manage social media, website maintenance, and e-blasts.
  • Create analytics summary on social media and website analytics
  • Coordinate press releases and articles to be published
  • RFI/RFP collateral support, manage portfolio, project photo inventory, and literature updates.
  • Plan and manage advertising, PR opportunities and articles.
  • Support ongoing marketing and BD efforts, donations and client gifts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently on multiple assignments/deadlines while maintaining the highest level of accuracy and quality.
  • Clear and high quality writing and editing skills.
     

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years’ experience in marketing services within the AEC industry highly preferred. BD in AEC is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites, InDesign, Photoshop, MS Office applications and PowerPoint.
  • Current website content management systems and social media platforms.

 

We are looking for a Project Manager for our Healthcare and Higher Education projects. If you have experience in the interior design and dealership industry, please send us your resume. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in interiors and furniture projects. 

  • Effectively manage multiple design/furniture procurement projects simultaneously
  • Identify resources necessary and effectively implement those resources to ensure projects are completed to client specifications and SB&C standards
  •  Manage a team of designers by being their direct report and mentor. This would include overseeing manpower, attendance, employee reviews and individual goals.
  • Manage Team to maximize utilization, profitability and personal growth
  • Challenge Team to reach their full potential and mentor designers with timely, clear, positive and negative feedback
  • Use marketing support, collateral and internal marketing strategy meetings to identify, assess and effectively market potential clients
  • Effectively market the entire range of SB&C services
  • Prospect to new potential clients by seeking out ideal SB&C clients and establishing new relationships
  • Attend industry specific trade shows and other community events to promote SB&C
  •  Grow existing client relationships by maximizing all SB&C services
  • Develop long lasting client relations through superior customer service, on-time deliverables and economic sensitive solutions that meet both the client’s budget constraints and aesthetic/durability needs
  • Identify internal opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change

 

We are looking for a Designer/SpecifierWe are looking for a creative and artistically-minded individual seeking a full-time Interior Designer position with  3-5+ track record of providing exceptional interior designing solutions to clients in order to meet project goals. A candidate that is able to balance a full workload and establish priorities and deadlines, while offering excellence in design strategies along with a keen sense of elemental colors and schemes.

Responsibilities, but not limited to the following

  • Select and specify furniture/artwork, soft goods and signage for procurement – includes all phases of procurement process
  • Possess current product knowledge and/or work with Senior Designer to specify appropriate furniture and related items
  • Work with manufacturers during bidding and negotiation
  • Oversee installation process
  • Follow up on punch items
  • Select and specify interior finishes for interior design projects – includes all phases of design process
  • Possess current finish knowledge and/or work with Senior Designer to specify appropriate materials
  • Work with all SBC team to achieve desired project results
  • Produce drawings in appropriate computer programs to accurately portray design intent
  • Verify with project team that all applicable building codes are being followed
  • Able to assist project team with all aspects design projects from A to Z

Required Skills

  • Accredited Degree in Interior Design
  • 3-5 years’ experience
  • Proficiency in CAP – 20-20 Worksheet a plus
  • Revit & Auto CAD
  • InDesign a plus

 

We are looking for a Senior DesignerWe are looking for a creative and artistically-minded individual seeking a full-time Senior Designer position with 8+/-  years record of providing exceptional interior designing solutions to clients in order to meet project goals. A candidate for the Senior Designer position must have their NCIDQ. A candidate also must be able to balance a full workload and establish priorities and deadlines, while offering excellence in design strategies along with a keen sense of elemental colors and schemes.

Responsibilities, but not limited to the following

  • Possess current product knowledge in order to specify appropriate furniture and related items
  • Work with manufacturers during bidding and negotiation
  • Oversee installation process
  • Follow up on punch items
  • Select and specify interior finishes for interior design projects – includes all phases of design process
  • Possess current finish knowledge in order to specify appropriate materials
  • Work with all project consultants and team members to achieve desired project results
  • Produce drawings in appropriate computer programs to accurately portray design intent
  • Possess knowledge of all applicable building codes that are relevant to project completion
  • Ability to execute all aspects of project design and/or specifications from A to Z
  • Capable of mentoring other junior level designers regarding project processes and product knowledge
  • Other duties as assigned
