In anticipation of the ever-changing demands of the consumer and to ensure the long-term sustainability of the community, Rolling Green Village set out to design a rehabilitation unit and amenity spaces to focus on the health and well-being of residents. Rolling Green Village enlisted the design services of LCS Development, Spellman Brady & Company and McMillan Pazdan Smith to create the two essential components to accomplish this—a state-of-the-art Wellness Center and Living Quarters that are more like a retreat than a short-term rehabilitation unit. To enhance the resort-like feel, the décor and finishes exhibit rich colors and textures; comfortable and clean-lined furnishings; and amenities such as a pool, salon, coffee and juice bar, outdoor gathering spaces and a massage therapy suite.
This project was featured on the cover of the Spring 2013 Annual Showcase Issue of Environments for Aging. It was also highlighted in the "New Construction/Remodel-Renovation" category for a post-acute/rehabilitation unit within a CCRC. Click here to view the spread.
